As a veteran transitioning from the military, we understand the unique strengths you bring to the table—discipline, commitment, leadership, and problem-solving—and we're eager to help you apply those skills in a fulfilling civilian career.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Perform essential maintenance, including DOT-mandated inspections on semi-truck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.Clean and maintain assigned work areas, including common shop areas and facility grounds (e.g., maintain recyclables, address fluid spills, and organize bulk storage of tires and barrels).Dispense vehicle fuels and other essential fluids.Complete required forms and input information into the fleet management system in a timely manner.Respond to disabled vehicles in the field during or after normal business hours, as needed.Perform routine preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to lubrication and oil changes; seat repairs; brake, wheel, tire, and battery services; belt, hose, headlight, and basic component replacements.Perform basic to intermediate repair work on fleet vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to alternator, starter, water pump replacement, and auxiliary equipment installation.Perform basic to intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosis of mechanical/electrical problems.WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:3+ years of verified fleet repair experienceValid Driver's License with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift 100+ poundsBasic computer skills to submit repairs for billingAbility to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasksBasic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair ordersOnce officially hired with Epika Fleet, you'll gain access to a range of great benefits designed to support your well-being and career growth.
