Maui Health System (MHS) Analytics is a small, two-person team that is based in Portland, OR. We work closely with our business partners located in Maui by traveling to Maui once a month to hold in-person meetings, meeting virtually over Microsoft Teams, and adapting our work schedules to accommodate the sometimes-three-hour time difference between Hawaii and the Northwest. We work with everyone from the CEO of MHS all the way down to the frontline staff. MHS Analytics strives to produce high-quality reports and dashboards using Crystal Reports and Power Bi that our business partners can utilize to make informed data-driven decisions. Although MHS Analytics is a small team, we are responsible for all reporting from Clarity. We take pride in knowing a little about a lot of different subject areas.
As part of the MHS Analytics Internship, you will become a vital contributor to our team from day one. You will be responsible for completing adhoc requests using SQL, Power BI, and/or SAS, developing new reports and dashboards using the previously mentioned tools, and providing a fresh set of eyes to help improve processes within the team. Our internship will provide you with an opportunity to grow your technical and professional skills with meaningful projects that have a direct impact on hospital operations and finance.
