About the Role

The Litigation Practice Area Specialist serves as a Lex Machina product expert, focused on educating, building, and strengthening relationships that help our customers get the most value out of our offerings. PAS’s partner with our customers via training, demos, and meetings as a trusted advisor to ensure our customers onboard and adopt Lex Machina. In this role, you will drive usage, preference and awareness of Lex Machina, collect customer and market feedback and uncover leads and opportunities to help drive revenue and POS and inform product development/roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Managing, protecting, and growing usage and adoption of Lex Machina from existing customers within an assigned territory/set of accounts

  • Developing and executing a defined account management strategy that drives retention, renewal, adoption, and growth

  • Implementing customer onboarding, enhanced support, on-going maintenance and training, usage analysis and usage driving activities of assigned Lex Machina customer accounts

  • Delivering a superior customer experience for Lex Machina and thereby supporting the businesses’ NPS and renewal goals

  • Creating programs which are designed to help Lex Machina users get the most value from Legal Analytics by identifying opportunities and strategies to improve their business, drive action, and achieve results by using Lex Machina’s data-driven insights

  • Understanding users’ business needs/expectations and goals

  • Preparing and delivering specialized customer presentations to drive usage, communicate our value proposition and differentiators

  • Developing and implementing a detailed strategic account management plan to demonstrate how to maximize those revenue opportunities

  • Optimizing Customer Lifecycle Plan to maximize revenue growth and retention by developing tactics/approaches that will drive the model

  • Managing existing customer relationships and implement programs and tools to drive retention, revenue growth, and upsell opportunities

  • Identifying key contacts and decision makers within a customer organization and develops relationships with those contacts

    Requirements

  • Have a Juris Doctor degree

  • Possess proven account management, sales, customer training or equivalent experience, working with complex legal solutions

  • Have in depth understanding of law firm and in-house operations and trends affecting the legal marketplace

  • Be able to create presentations and present materials to an executive level audience using both written and verbal communication skills

  • Have the ability to build solid customer relationships

  • Possess outstanding business acumen to understand the impact of decisions on the customer base as measured by the Net Promoter Score performance.

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities

  • Be able to travel up to 20% of the time
