Machine Operator

Paying $18 / HR - $22.28 / HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

• Assist with production in the cutter/grinder department by safely operating automated production machinery to cut, grind, and form parts for chainsaw chains.

• Make adjustments to machines as needed.

• Identify and clear machine faults.

• Empty baskets containing finished parts.

• Load finished parts in to baskets and operate equipment to wash them in acid solution for finishing.

• Must follow safety protocol for running equipment and working around chemicals.

Qualifications:

• No experience required but must be comfortable around machinery and chemicals.

• On-the job training provided.

• Must be okay with repetitive work.

Environment/ Shift:

• Must be comfortable in an large manufacturing environment. It can be louder and will require you to wear ear plugs.

• For safety precautions, you are also required to wear safety glasses and close toed shoes.

• Day shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm.

• Swing shift: 4:00pm - 12:00am.

• Grave shift: 12:00am - 7:30am.
