Serves as a nursing care consultant for inpatients on East and West Campus with complex wound care and ostomy management needs.
Minimum two years recent acute care RN experience
Current, valid Arizona or compact RN state license
Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider certification
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities/tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Able to position and/or transfer an average patient and possess gross coordination sufficient to perform other patient care duties as required
Must be able to perform manipulative skills such as complex wound dressings and ostomy appliance maintenance.
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Bachelor of Science degree in nursing
Advanced wound care experience
Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) or Wound Care (WCC) certification
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; Cerner strongly preferred
