Educational Testing Service Director, Financial Systems and Automation in Princeton, New Jersey

The Director, Financial Systems and Automation is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the performance of a NetSuite ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. In addition the colleague will be responsible to use toolsets beyond NetSuite (RPA, Python or other tools/languages) to automate processes.

Configuration and Maintenance:

  • Configure and maintain the NetSuite ERP system, ensuring alignment with the company's business processes.

  • Optimize system settings, workflows, and customizations for maximum efficiency.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to NetSuite.

Dashboard Creation and Reporting:

  • Utilize NetSuite's native tools to create high-performing dashboards tailored to specific business needs.

  • Develop reports and visualizations to provide actionable insights from business data.

Automation Skills:

  • Leverage RPA tools (such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere) to automate repetitive tasks within NetSuite.

  • Write Python scripts to enhance system functionality, automate data imports, exports, and perform data transformations.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide technical support to all team members using NetSuite.

  • Conduct training sessions to empower users with the necessary skills to navigate and utilize the system effectively.

Integration with Other Systems:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate NetSuite with other business applications (e.g., CRM, HR, inventory management).

  • Ensure seamless data flow between NetSuite and other ERP platforms.

Experience with Other ERP Platforms:

  • Draw from past experience implementing and maintaining other ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

  • Apply best practices learned from other platforms to enhance NetSuite's performance.

Adhere to ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations applicable to your job function.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.

  • 10+ years experience in analytics

  • 5+ years experience in automation and ERP implementations

  • Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.

  • Proficiency in NetSuite administration and customization.

  • Familiarity with RPA tools and Python scripting.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication.

  • MBA preferred

  • Tactical experience in implanting ERPs as well as business partnering to drive adopted change
