Motion Recruitment Partners Network/Security Engineer in Princeton, New Jersey

Job Description

This global biopharma company is currently looking to hire a network/security engineer on a contract to hire basis. With over 25,000 employees world-wide, this organization has a strong presence and is one of the leaders in manufacturing and distribution of medicines used by millions. They have a focus on making these medicines affordable and accessible to everyone.

The position itself is two-fold. First being the networking side of things. They need someone who is generally familiar firewalls specifically in Palo Alto and Cisco. This can mean managing or configuring. The manager is looking for a “go getter.” Someone he can trust to go do the task at hand. On the security side of things, he is looking for someone who can proactively scan for vulnerabilities and may be able to set up true vulnerability scanners down the line. Currently they use an MSP for security service, but the goal is to implement initiatives.

Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in both network/infrastructure and security

  • Understanding of basic firewall measures


  • Vulnerability scanning, ideally within Qualys

  • Knowledge of security measures and policies

    Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Previous experience as a network engineer

  • Passion for security

  • Relevant certifications
