Summary We are hiring a Full-time A&P Mechanic I for our Initial Flight Training (IFT) Program for the United States Air Force (USAF) located in Pueblo, CO. The A&P Mechanic I performs routine maintenance on Diamond DA-20 airframes and complies with all safety requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Inspect Diamond DA-20 Airframe, Engine, and Propeller systems while performing 50, 100, 200, 1000-hour and other hourly or calendar airframe, engine and propeller inspections in accordance with manufacturer and locally developed checklists. Assist with Annual Inspections, perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft components. Test aircraft operations to identify malfunctions. Adjust, align and calibrate aircraft using hand tools, gauges, etc. Perform oil changes, battery service, hydraulic system service, wheel & tire tear down/build up, and other aircraft servicing tasks or duties as assigned by Maintenance Management. Ensure compliance with FAA part 65 Repair Station and company standards. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors. Resolve technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs. Perform disable aircraft recovery operations Perform maintenance compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations, and US Air Force FOD and safety programs. Operate support equipment that is used in removal and installations of aircraft components. Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner. May be assigned general shop duties that directly apply to supporting aircraft maintenance, such as performing general labor within the maintenance shop, assisting with annual inventory or maintaining support equipment, etc. Keep work area clean and safe.

Qualifications and Education Requirements At least 1 year in theaircraft maintenance field License(s)/Certificate(s) Required: FAA A&P Certification Computer Skills: Minimal Specialized Skills: Composite repairs Other Details: Basic aircraft hand tools and personal toolbox required. Tool boxmust be shadowed. Must possess a current valid Driver's License Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 2nd shift vary. Occasional weekends and holidays, as required. This could shift from a Monday-Friday to a Tuesday - Saturday depending on the increased flying requirements

Security Responsibilities

Must complywith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary i formation will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources. Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment as well as in an Airplane. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Working conditions include outdoors, hangar, office, ramp, aircraft, classroom

Salary: $31.75/hour along with a Health & Welfare benefit
