Cornerstone onDemand Principal Program Manager in Pune, India

Cornerstone is looking for a Program Manager, IT Change Management who will report to the Senior Manager, IT Change Management and be responsible for ensuring change management is addressed proactively and effectively. This role will help apply change management strategy, tools and communication for all IT projects working closely with the business leads and IT leads and ensure stakeholders are informed and prepared for change impacts. This role will be key in planning and drafting IT communications.

To succeed in this role, you are a highly motivated self-starter, it will be necessary for you to have superior skills in creating employee and leadership facing communications assets, a strong collaborative working and communication style, and clear sense of ownership and accountability.

In this role you will…

  • Implement change management strategies and plans in support of IT programs and projects. This includes creating change management processes and playbooks that can be customized per project needs .

  • Develop highly impactful communications and presentations to support IT initiatives with your communication expertise .

  • Act as a liaison between senior leaders and other staff members, to produce high-impact communication deliverables such as quarterly updates, newsletters, and presentations in a timely manner.

  • Ensure adoption goals are met through active participation, effective communication .

  • Function in an agile environment, working closely with the program/project manager to complete change management deliverables within the project/program .

  • Identify and anticipate organizational challenges and/or resistance; develop risk mitigation plan. This will include performing Stakeholder and change impact analysis identifying potential project impacts/risks .

  • Based on project need, facilitate a change agent network within the business to bring awareness and excitement to new changes and support adoption to new processes .

  • Facilitate meetings – in-person, online or hybrid model (both) .

  • Collaborate with technical teams, project teams and internal operations and communications teams to complete change management deliverables .

  • Coach and support people, managers, and executives through change transition .

  • Ensure IT teams, partners and stakeholders are engaged and informed appropriately throughout the project lifecycle, leveraging industry leading practices.

  • Be the change management lead on some initiatives as well as contribute as a team member on others .

You have what it takes if you have…

  • A Masters in Business Administration or a related field .

  • 8 years of progressive Change Management experience

  • 5+ communications experience

  • Effective prioritization and project management skills

  • Ability to excel in a multi-cultural, fast paced environment

  • Experience with defining and executing change management strategies in support of large and complex IT projects impacting a diverse stakeholder group with varying needs

  • Adept at quickly understanding the client business, creating internal partnerships, fostering collaboration, and recommending strategies that fit the client culture and business model

  • Superior skills using office tools – Word, PowerPoint, Excel (or equivalent) to convey complex information in powerful, easy to understand ways

  • Ability to operate effectively in a high demand, rapidly shifting / fluid environment.

  • Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations and simplify processes and messaging

  • Emotional intelligence to understand privacy and security nuances on projects and communications

  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders

  • Please be prepared to share examples of work product as part of the hiring process .

What will make you stand out …

  • Change management certification (PROSCI or CCMP)

  • Scrum/Agile certifications

  • Experience in organizational development, human performance technology, organizational communications

  • Experience with one or several of these tools: Asana, Salesforce, JIRA, Microsoft Project, ServiceNow

  • Previous merger and acquisition project or change management experience
