Overview:

R2Net is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Associate to join our expanding Accounting Team within AR and AP. As a Data Entry Associate, you will play a vital role in accurately entering data into spreadsheets and accounting software. This position is based in New York City and we kindly request that only candidates actively seeking work in this location apply.

As a Data Entry Associate, you will be required to:

• Review bills and perform data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software.

• Review documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, acquiring missing or correct data when necessary.

• Work closely with other functional teams to ensure data quality and consistency

• Support and assist Inventory, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams with data entry and data accuracy.

• Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered.

• Photocopy and scan documents.

• Ad hoc clerical assistance to the accounting department.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, data analysis or relevant field

• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field

Requirements:

• High School Degree, GED or equivalent certification

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field

Base pay range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
