Red Hat Senior Manager, Information and Technology Services_Global in Raleigh, North Carolina

The Red Hat Sales IT team is looking for a Senior Manager of Salesforce Delivery. In this role, you will manage software engineers, developers, quality assurance (QA) testers, system administrators, and business analysts. You will work closely with project managers, scrum masters, release engineers, and enterprise architects to define, develop, test, and deliver business solutions for the Partner Ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● You will be managing a team (in an Agile environment) consisting of 15-20 Salesforce resources including analysts, developers, system administrators, and third-party resources.

● You will be driving the Red Hat’s implementation of Salesforce Partner Relation Management (PRM) within Red Hat’s established development and release processes.

● You will be collaborating with business stakeholders in Sales/Sales Operations to prioritize their requests based on opportunities to increase revenue, retain customers, and drive process efficiency (in that order).

● You will be using Salesforce best practices to manage your team in designing/delivering scalable enterprise solutions.

● You will work with the Development Operations and Architecture teams in evolving the current models of governance and continuous delivery for Salesforce for Red Hat.

● As a manager, you will be responsible for:

○ Establishing measurable individual objectives aligned to organizational goals.

○ Providing regular constructive feedback on performance and development.

○ Recognizing high performers and retain key talent.

○ Instill and maintain a culture of continuous learning by providing growth and training opportunities.

● You will be coordinating team communication with local, global, and off-shore contractor resources to ensure on-time delivery of releases.

● You will be analyzing team capacity versus demand and communicating resourcing needs to management. You will provide solutions for gaps in capabilities.

● You will be cultivating collaborative relationships with your peers to coordinate development and identify opportunities for process improvement.

● You are expected to lead by influence across the organization and provide mentorship for team leads and new managers.

REQUIRED SKILLS

● 5+ years of experience working in people management and application delivery management across SaaS technologies.

● 5+ years as a Senior Salesforce Developer or Senior Salesforce Administrator. Strong understanding of Salesforce Development and multi-tenant architect model.

● 3+ years of experience managing Partner application development and configuration.

● 3+ years of experience delivering within an Agile project environment. Experience with large-scale project management.

● Bachelor’s degree within Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

● Demonstrated knowledge and skills to oversee the delivery of technology solutions using agile methods and both onshore and offshore providers for 5+ years.

● Critical thinking skills to project situations; ability to make judgment calls to establish direction for resolution and oversee and manage resolution plans. Self-aware and strategic thinker; proficient at building strong relationships.

● Demonstrated ability to build relationships, collaborate with, and influence cross-functional teams in a global capacity.

● 3+ years working with Partner Ecosystem

The salary range for this position is $148,940.00 - $245,750.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
