Labcorp Network Technician in Raritan, New Jersey

Labcorp is hiring a technician to provide desktop support. This person will work with users on software and application support as well as hardware and infrastructure. Support will include onsite work internally at the Raritan, NJ office as well as travelling to various labs and facilities.

1st Shift Network Technician

Hours: Monday – Friday [9am-5:30pm]

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support and setup of all onsite and remote users and all associated IT equipment.

  • Open and assign tickets and tasks to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams as needed.

  • Support both onsite and remote the Raritan facility as well as many of the remote locations.

  • Setup and support of conference rooms, TV’s and telecommunications equipment.

  • Support of daily walk-ins with a large variety of items.

  • Executive support as needed for issues, projects or requests.

  • Support all special projects for user software rollout, networking upgrades or security initiatives.

  • Divisional UPS setup and support.

  • Support and implementation of all the end of life products or equipment upgrades initiatives.

  • Support and assist in setup of the divisional network including WAN, MDF, IDF equipment.

  • Assist with new hire setup of both hardware and software access and setup.

  • Working with vendors and contractors with security camera systems, badge systems, a variety facility systems.

  • Assisting employees or departments with Town Hall setup or issues.

  • Support of our Meraki IDF cameras.

  • Support and setup of all the WFH users and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Solid troubleshooting skills.

  • Must have a solid IT foundation.

  • Prior desktop support experience.

  • Good communication skills and a high level of professionalism.

EDUCATION

  • License/Certification/Education: Normally requires an A.A. Degree in Computer Science w/1-3 years of experience.

Pay Range: $16-25 hourly
