DESCRIPTION OF WORK A Field Enforcement Agent 1, REV observes and assists experienced agents of BETA in the field to gain technical experience and skill in several essential functions. This involves collection techniques and procedures that include explaining tax rules, regulations, reporting requirements, remittance obligations, and penalties for non-compliance as well as enforcing compliance of the tax laws and regulations for all taxes administered under BETA through the enforcement and collection of delinquent taxes and missing returns. You may also have the opportunity to help conduct criminal and tax investigations of businesses, interview witness, prepare reports for prosecutors, and participate in efforts to reach and educate new businesses.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of experience in tax investigation work; or Four years of experience in collections operations in a business, commercial, industrial, government, or finance office; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

You must possess an active motor vehicle license.

Additional Requirements: You must reside in Berks County, Pennsylvania. You must be bilingual, Spanish and English fluency required.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
