Outside Product Operations Coordinator - Mapping in Remote, Colorado

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Product Operations Coordinator. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Mapping Division (Gaia GPS and Trailforks) at Outside. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor activities, strong organizational and project management skills, and a desire to learn and grow their product management and operations experience within a fast-paced environment.

This role can be 100% remote in United States or Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Leads with a highly-organized project management mindset to help facilitate cross-functional projects to ensure alignment and smooth execution of projects.

  • Leadership: Leads meetings and discussions related to product initiatives, ensuring clarity and alignment across teams.

  • Communication: Effectively communicates operational strategies and changes across the Mapping Division from individual contributors up to senior executive stakeholders.

  • Reporting: Manages reporting across the Mapping Division, driving the creation of the product roadmap as well as providing status & insights, tracking goals and KPIs, and ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Builds strong relationships across the company to enhance product request processes and prioritization.

  • Process Ownership & Improvement: Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements and leads initiatives to implement these changes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced tech industry or traditional management consulting.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal working with Senior Leadership.

  • Presentation & Data Reporting Skills in G-Suite - Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.

  • Very detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

  • A self-starter who is a proactive problem-solver with a willingness to take initiative, ask for help when needed, but drive projects from start to finish.

  • Familiarity with product management concepts such as Agile, Scrum, Sprint Planning, etc.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Linear, Asana) is a plus.

  • Passion and zeal for our mission of "Getting Everyone Outdoors!"

Remote jobs that can be performed in Boulder, Colorado: Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $50,000 to $60,000. Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, Flexible Time Away, sick leave, and many more. The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for this role, and may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors
