Position Summary

As a PK/PD Modeler , you are responsible for managing the design, conduct and reporting of studies to meet scientific, regulatory and client requirements on a wide variety of pharmacometric study types throughout the drug development process. You have overall responsibility for the scientific, technical and regulatory conduct of studies as well as for the interpretation, documentation and reporting of results.

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of relevant pharmacometrics analysis, including PK/PD, population PK, physiologically based PK, and exposure-response, for assigned projects

  • Contribute significantly to proposal and PK/PD analysis plan development for pharmaceutical sponsors

  • Provide scientific input for the design and preparation of pre-clinical and clinical study protocols and regulatory document(s), response to regulatory comment(s)

  • Serve as primary Sponsor contact

  • Prepare for presentations, manuscripts, written study reports and clinical study report section(s)

  • Provide scientific leadership in the performance of PK/PD analysis and mentor associates in developing their expertise and technical skills in popPK and other modeling skillsets.

  • Uses knowledge gained to develop SOPs and guide clients through the regulatory requirements.

  • Consults with clients to determine their needs and to suggest/guide plans to accomplish these needs.

Candidates given best consideration will have the following experience/skills:

  • Demonstrable experience in pharmacometrics approaches (popPK, PK/PD or PBPK)

  • Hands-on experience with physiologically based PK development and implementation is desirable

  • Demonstrated expertise working with data and software to support clinical trials

  • Publication/presentation record focused on the use of pharmacometrics approaches

  • Objective and logical analytical and reasoning skills

  • Great communication and organizational skills

  • Proven customer management skills and commercial/business awareness

Education:

  • Relevant PhD or Masters degree within a relevant scientific subject

Pay Range: $89,000 - $120,000 annually (USD )
