Routeware, Inc FP&A Analyst in Portland, Oregon

This is a fulltime position that must be local to the Portland, Oregon area - 90% remote except for occasional in person team meetings

POSITION OVERVIEW

This individual will lead and assist with the monthly reporting and participate in the quarterly financial forecasting, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects for all the Company's global business units. They will provide financial consulting and strategic support to management, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis, and other projects requested by management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the Company to provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with and own the preparation of ongoing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting responsibilities

  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

  • Participate in the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan, and Modeling tools

  • Complete ad-hoc reporting, research, modeling, and analysis

  • Query data, create financial statements, and maintain accuracy across multiple systems

  • Be curious, growing into more reporting and modeling responsibilities over time

  • Learn and advance in Adaptive Planning and Salesforce reporting, becoming proficient at cubes and modeling multiple dimensions in Excel

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of applicable FP&A Analyst experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related, or equivalent experience

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Experience in Workday Adaptive is strongly preferred

  • Experience with Sage Intacct (or similar Accounting software) and Salesforce preferred

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
