Conduent is seeking an entry level Data Scientist to join our Analytics Practice to support our analytics products development and work with a team of Data Scientists to deliver solutions across several industry segments. This role requires good logical thinking and problem-solving skills; primary responsibility is to build, optimize, test and debug data science transformations and models.

What you'll do here:

Join as an early career / entry-level data scientist and be assigned to one of our data analytics or AI related projects for our Commercial or government clients

Work on cloud-based technologies building state of the art solutions, developing a variety of skills including machine learning, deep learning, visualization, databases, and massively parallel processing (MPP)

Work in a team of 3-8 under the mentorship of seasoned data architects and data scientists with deep expertise and experience in data related projects and cloud

Help evaluate, deploy and engineer leading methods in computer vision, natural language processing and edge computing against datasets across various Conduent businesses

Use best practice data science and development methodologies to deliver usable, working products and solutions to a variety of industries.

Rotational assignments, learning and contributing to all aspects of the data science process including:

Accessing data, building ETL/ELT pipelines

Exploratory Data Analysis

Data Cleaning, Feature Generation and Extraction

Machine Learning and Deep Learning Modeling

Evaluation, Visualization and Presentation of results

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

Bachelor's degree with focus in Data Science

One year experience with a focus in Data Science

Deep knowledge of fundamentals of machine learning, data mining and statistical predictive modeling, and some experience applying these methods to real world problems

Engineering expertise in applicable programming and analytics languages (Python, R) and various open-source machine learning and analytics packages to generate deliverable modules and prototype demonstrations of work

Knowledge of data warehouse, data lake and BI Solutions

Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL to extract and evaluate data.

The Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose the following information. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. For Colorado considerations only the estimated salary range is $82,000 - $86,715
