What You Can Expect

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer with a strong background in Azure Defender products and experience in integrating cloud services across Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, and GitLab. The candidate will play a critical role in supporting our product and application development teams by ensuring a secure development lifecycle and implementing best practices in cloud security.

How You'll Create Impact

• Implement and manage Azure Defender solutions across our cloud environments.

• Design and implement security solutions within Azure and across integrated cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS, GitLab).

• Develop automation scripts to streamline security processes across multiple cloud platforms.

• Collaborate with development teams to embed security into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Manage identity and access controls, including integration with Azure Active Directory.

• Ensure data protection through encryption, monitoring, and access controls across all cloud services.

• Conduct threat modeling and implement threat protection measures.

• Provide expertise in cloud security architecture and influence the strategic direction for cloud security within the organization.

• Respond to security incidents and participate in security operations.

• Stay current with the latest cloud security trends and compliance requirements.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.

• Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.

• Strong experience with Azure Defender and other Microsoft security products.

• Experience with cloud services integration, particularly Google Cloud, AWS, and GitLab.

• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycles.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Your Background

• Minimum Bachelor degree & 4+ years relevant experience; or Associate degree & 6+ years relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 8+ years’ relevant experience

• Experience in Cloud Engineering (Azure preferred) and technologies (i.e., vulnerability scanning tools, SIEM, applications, networking devices, etc.)

• Must have at least one IT Security certification (CCSP, CCSK, AZ-104, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer)
