Description We are offering a contract to permanent remote employment opportunity for a Sr. Grant Accountant in Washington. This role involves supporting the management of a large volume of grants spread across multiple entities, providing counsel on audit requirements, and ensuring efficient execution of grant funding and compliance.

Responsibilities: • Manage and support the day-to-day activities of handling a large volume of grants across multiple entities. • Field questions and research issues related to grant accounting and management. • Provide counsel on audit requirements and ensure the system is set up correctly for audit purposes. • Assist in managing a large volume of ongoing work related to executing grant funding and compliance. • Utilize accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to perform accounting functions. • Conduct auditing and compliance checks to ensure adherence to grant guidelines. • Prepare and analyze financial statements related to grants. • Apply knowledge of Grant Accounting and Grant Management principles to daily tasks. • Use Oracle and other relevant software for efficient grant management. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with all Accounting Functions

• Background in Auditing

• Knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards

• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements

• Experience in Grant Accounting

• Expertise in Grant Management

• Proficiency in Oracle software
