SOS International LLC Project Coordinator in Reston, Virginia

Overview

SOSi is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Reston, Virginia. The project coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination of special projects, initiatives and supporting tasks related to program-wide activities and priorities as assigned by the Project Supervisor.

Essential Job Duties

  • Performs system data entry, updates and maintenance as assigned; Maintains data accuracy and provides verification of information.

  • Collects information for reporting regarding Annual Assessment metrics and operational activities.

  • Collaborates and executes directed Recognition activities for external stakeholders.

  • Develops and maintains program data, spreadsheets, and reports per direction of the Project Supervisor.

  • Assists in monitoring incoming and outgoing correspondence and action documents, following up to ensure that deadlines are met for responses.

  • Effectively Communicates and Coordinates with various program departments, to include Operations, Quality Management, Testing, and Finance, and corporate support teams including Recruiting.

  • Procurement to resolve day to day issues and directed activities.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all records, including Personally Identifiable Information (PII), personnel issues and other sensitive matters in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Keeps all file systems containing PII secured per the company and customer policy.

  • Independently accomplishes tasks and questions within their scope. Seeks guidance when appropriate.

  • Utilizes various Microsoft suite products and other systems to achieve assigned tasks.

  • Completes all initial, annual, and ad hoc training as required/assigned.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Project Supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates degree in human resources or a relatable field; or comparable experience.

  • One to three years of experience in relevant discipline, support services or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Must be a very detail-oriented self-starter who can solve problems and exercise use of good judgment and discretion.

  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal and organizational skills, strong work ethic and ability to understand and appreciate mission requirements.

  • High degree of oral and written communication skills, including capacity to communicate effectively with a professional demeanor.

  • Ability to complete tasks from start to finish and adjust priorities as necessary.

  • Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision but also collaboratively as a member of a team.

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required to include high proficiency in typing, and automated processes.

  • Proven success working in support of Federal, state and local agencies.

Work Environment

  • Normal office working conditions.

  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary

  • May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs.

  • May require up to 25% travel in support of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
