JOB REQUIREMENTS: This is an individual contributor, technical role. This role does not have direct reports. This role will maintain and support various components of our IT infrastructure. This role makes decisions and recommendations on best practices for Microsoft AD, Server infrastructure, Group Policy and backup/recovery procedures. There is after-hours, on-call support required of this role. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and support Microsoft Active Directory Maintain and support Azure Active Directory Design, build and maintain servers, both physical and virtual, at all Printpack locations, including our datacenter. Test and approve OS patches for all Printpack systems Design, build and maintain our public key infrastructure (PKI) Research and test new operating systems for future use at Printpack Work with our cloud service partners to manage our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.) Monitor and validate server backup systems Maintain and support internal DNS Install updates on all VMWare host infrastructure Maintain and support Group Policy Support installations of internal and third-party software Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Skilled in scripting with Windows PowerShell to automate various server maintenance and administration tasks Knowledge of proper design and maintenance of Microsoft Active Directory for AD maintenance and support responsibilities Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving various server, AD, virtualization and OS related issues Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMWare for maintaining/deploying hosts and guests within our VMWare environment Knowledge of various backup technologies such as Veeam and Backup Exec for backup maintenance and administration responsibilities Education: Bachelor\'s degree in an IT or Engineering field of study required Experience: 5+ years experience in IT 3+ years experience in systems support and engineering Experience in a hybrid environment of on-prem and cloud systems Experience with both Windows and Linux based systems Experience in scripting languages such as Shell and Windows PowerShell Experience with network technologies Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare Experience with cloud infrastructure services such as AWS and Azure Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
