About the Opportunity
The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer has an immediate opening for an Experienced Administrative Assistant reporting to Group Vice President of Governance, Risk and Compliance. This position will also be supporting the Vice President and the Assistant Vice President of Governance, Risk and Compliance.
This position provides administrative support for department units and management including, but not limited to, preparing, revising, and developing documents; maintaining and/or monitoring calendars, coordinating meetings with System and/or Fiscal Service attendees; making travel arrangements for division officers; procuring supplies and processing invoices; maintaining databases; acting as a liaison to other departments; and completing assigned projects. This position is a hybrid role, with in-office days to be expected 3 days per week, depending on the need of the department.
What You Will Do:
Heavy calendar management for three officers
Produce and edit correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations, some of which are confidential or sensitive in nature
May maintain other department databases as needed
Performs purchasing and payment activities for department, working within established guidelines to ensure compliance with Federal Reserve policies and timely payment of invoices
Maintain department records including department procurement records to meet requirements of audits and operations reviews
Develop basic analytical reports and assists with projects of low to average complexity and priority
Perform various department onboarding/offboarding activities, including preparation of workspace, updates to email groups, and creation of new employee information packets.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with other various online applications
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Basic project management and analytical skills
Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks appropriately
Attentive response to internal or external requests for information
Ability to work independently with moderate supervision and direction
Two+ years of administrative assistant experience
High school diploma or GED

The hiring range for the Admin Assistant - Experienced is $43,900 – $54,900 annually.
Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications.
The Fifth District provides a hybrid work environment. This position is required to be onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
