Boeing is currently looking for an Inspector Magnetic/Penetrant to join the team in Ridley Park, PA
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Inspect ferrous and non-ferrous parts, materials, and tools for defects.
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with established methods, processes and control requirements.
Setup equipment and perform inspections using magnetic, ultraviolet light and spot-check equipment to inspect parts, gears, and other highly stressed components for cracks and similar defects.
Perform Eddy Current inspections for cracks and corrosion.In accordance with established standards and processes; approve or reject inspected parts, materials, gears and/or components.
Prepare records to document rejections and/or required rework.
May be required to perform inspection duties at subsidiary plants, vendor, or subcontracting plants, and advise on acceptable methods of inspection and interpretation of Company standards.
Perform work in accordance with oral or written instructions and in conformance with Company standards of safety, workmanship, and good housekeeping practice.
Maintain timely, complete and accurate records.
May provide instruction to employees designated to assist with the above duties.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.§120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
Must hold a current certification in NDT Level II for Eddy Current
Experience with NDI Magnetic Particle Inspection and/or Penetrant Inspection
Typical Education/ Experience:
High school diploma/GED and/or vocational/trade school training.

This is an hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
