Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Practice Manager - NYU Langone Medical Associates - Westhampton. In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for office services and related activities. Assures that the facility and organizational policies and procedures are followed and promotes the smooth, profitable operation of business.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Monitors efficiency of operations including: scheduling, reporting, procedures, work assignments, appointments, patient flow, medical records, medical transcription and staff. Assists in developing policies and procedures, benchmarks, and performance standards to support the practice s ability to deliver quality services and maximize efficiencies.
    • Ensures that patients are treated courteously by staff and that other visitors are screened and properly directed. Makes timely fact-based decisions. Anticipates situations and takes action. Ensures that the practice budget is maintained within reasonable variances. Creates a positive climate within the practice and sets high performance standards
    • Responsible for completion and submission of payroll records. Manages office personnel including hiring, guiding, directing, developing, training, counseling, disciplining, and evaluating. Establishes short and long term goals for the practice site. Develops, plans and institutes new ideas.
    • Trains all new employees to follow HIPAA guidelines and policies. Ensures continued knowledge of HIPAA with annual updates and testing. Ensures new employees are properly oriented as to the policies and procedures of the practice and the organization. Evaluates new employees ensuring their competency to perform their job function. Ensures that staff receives training required to meet technological changes. Ensures compliance with Human Resources policies.
    • Ensures that all physicians licenses, DEA numbers and malpractice insurance information is current. Processes credentialing and re-credentialing applications for all physicians at the practice. Performs annual performance and competency reviews. Completes initial competency assessments. Completes and submits incident reports as needed.
    • Communicates to and updates Human Resources on issues, as needed. Demonstrates support for the hospital s goals.
    • Performs other tasks as necessary to ensure the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the practice.
    • Ensures that all licenses of employees are current. Completes and submits all other practice documents as needed.
    • Fosters a spirit of cooperation with other members of the hospital.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. 1 - 2 years Supervisory experience (Private Practice setting preferred). Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organization, multi-task, and leadership skills. Proficiency with computers.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree In related area.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $81,347.78 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
