We are offering a role in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospitals and social assistance, located in Riverside, Ohio. The job function is that of a Medical Customer Service Representative. Responsibilities:

• Answering inbound calls from patients in a timely and efficient manner

• Scheduling appointments at the correct location based on patient needs

• Triage calls for urgent matters and escalate issues when necessary

• Updating patient information in the system accurately

• Verifying patient's medical insurance information and updating records

• Performing data entry tasks related to patient details and appointment schedules

• Handling other clerical duties as required

• Adapting quickly to changes in a fast-paced call center environment

• Following directions and procedures accurately

• Maintaining a customer-oriented approach in all interactions

Requirements

• Proficient in Email and Fax operations

• Exceptional Customer Service skills

• Experience with Filing and maintaining records

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Possess Basic Office Skills such as copying and scanning

• Experience in Medical Insurance Verification

• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• High attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory
