US Ecology, Inc. Deepwell Operator in Robstown, Texas
Schedule -alternating shifts days and nights, some weekends.
Hours- 5-5, two shifts for 24hr coverage
What is the job?
This is a hard but rewarding job where you will operate and e nsure that pumps, chlorinators, vacuum equipment, and other wastewater treatment tools are operational at all times .
You will also regularly :
Maintain and operate site wells and systems.
Record daily system readings and complete inspections.
Report, troubleshoot, and maintain any malfunction records.
Participate in a weekly safety and compliance meeting.
Collect process samples.
Ensure the work area is safe and compliant at all times .
Perform other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Knowledge of water treatment processes
1-3 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, and piping systems
Valid driver’s license
Comfort wearing a respirator as needed
Ability to work a flexible work schedule (including overtime and evenings)
Ability to come onsite in the event of an emergency or be on call as needed (after working hours)
