ASSEMBLY COORDINATOR at StoreSMART, across the street from Monroe Community College Full time days: Monday- Friday between 8:30AM to 5:00 PM 39.5 Hours We are open family friendly hours - No nights or weekends Great for moms and retirees.

Coordinator Responsibilities: Lead and actively participate in a team of assemblers to ensure timely completion of projects Responsible for ensuring the assembly meets and/or exceeds production targets Ensure that standard work procedures are followed consistently across the assembly process Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations

Pre-Production Planning: Review Orders & Internal Purchase Orders for team Review time requirements needed Verification of supplies for assembly team

Inventory Management: Monitor Replenishments using the Kanban & Lean Manufacturing System Ensure that supplies needed by assembly & order processing are available Outline locations for shelf & product labels for new items Research products based upon customer order history & create breakdown sheets Update Sage/Peachtree with any location changes Resolve damaged stock- return to vendor, repack as needed Physical inventory reviews - replenish products from secondary location to primary location

Assembly Team- Policies: Review company policies with the Assembly Team to ensure they are complying (Punch in/out for lunch, Sick Pay, Approvals for time off requests.) Resolve assembly issues-training of team members, learning from mistakes Use of template to complete assembly tasks Use of assembly equipment (PC, Scales, Sealers, etc) Safety awareness in the work area & warehouse

Processing Shipments: Process replenishment of stock product Weigh, bag items, and make labels in Micro-Soft Word (AVERY)

On-Boarding Assembly Ensure that the new hire is setup correctly (email, policies etc) Provide new hire training

Skills Needed: Repetitive work with your hands Good attention to detail Use a ruler to measure boxes and products Good time management Must be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally Entry level computer skills: keyboard and mouse Comfortable giving instructions and critiques

Required Education: High School Education with 2 years of college At least 3 years in an assembly position Minimum 3 years in a management position
