Summary/Objective This position assists the CFO with financial and accounting decisions and supervision of the Finance Department and Agencies.

Essential Functions 1.Imparts agency philosophy of Equal Opportunity, Independence and Realization of Individual Potential to children, families, program staff and community resources. 2.Maintains confidentiality of information relating to individuals and their families in accordance with agency policy. 3.Maintains integrity of the general ledger and assists with the management of the accounting function of the agency. 4.Performs month-end closing procedures including completion of bank and general ledger account reconciliations and preparation of the Board of Directors packet for CFOs review. 5.Supervises the Accounting Manager. 6.Works with the Accounting Manager and Senior Billing Supervisor in reviewing accounts receivable balances monthly in conjunction with reconciliations and follows up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collection. 7.Responsible for the preparation of all required government reports and cost reporting to regulatory agencies including sales tax forms and returns. 8.Partners with program managers to create and monitor reports used to measure the financial performance operations. 9.Completes, maintains and coordinates all Janitorial contracts. 10.Reviews and maintains all production bids. 11.Performs and reviews grant billing as assigned. 12.Maintains current data on labor, material and overhead costs for the purpose of achieving profitability for all jobs, projects and business maintenance activities. 13.Prepares annual year-end financial audits and annual workers compensation audit. 14.Attend and participate in Audit & Finance Committee meetings. 15.Performs other duties at the discretion of supervisors. 16.Adheres to company policies and procedures to include being aware of the importance of Corporate Compliance Policies and the Code of Conduct. Staff is responsible for maintaining required certifications and licenses.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelors degree in accounting required with a minimum of five years of accounting experience; two of which involved financial statement preparation. Experience in auditing preferred along with strong skills in developing and using spreadsheets.
