JOB SUMMARY

The Procurement Sourcing Specialist will support company-wide efforts to develop and maintain strategic relationships with both regional and global suppliers who provide materials or services to our company, ensuring they meet our quality and cost specifications as well as delivery timeline. The Sourcing Specialist will continuously scan the market for new suppliers and innovative solutions that can best advance our business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead Strategic Sourcing initiatives including the development of comprehensive RFP's and contract negotiations within assigned categories.

• Drive year-over-year cost savings and productivity within assigned categories ensuring that goods and services are procured with the highest quality, at the best price, with the shortest lead time with our vendor and agency partners.

• Manage categories by developing sourcing strategies, commodity assessments, engaging stakeholders and leveraging corporate FIFCO as needed.

• Ensure RFPs and contracts are executed and documented according to the Procurement standards.

• Develop annual productivity initiatives/projects and ensure savings are realized through the annual OB process.

• Provide and update category/commodity short and long term strategies and share findings with stakeholders and management.

• Collaborate with department stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance.

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors and product innovations.

• Promote a zero tolerance for violations of procurement policies and procedures.

• Control spend and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.

• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

• Represent Procurement in business meetings and lead supplier business review meetings on a regular basis.

• Develop Procurement strategies that are inventive and cost effective.

• Negotiating with suppliers/agencies and reviewing contract to secure advantageous terms.

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors and internal stakeholders.

• Attends on site supplier/distribution center visits, trade shows, conferences and supplier meetings.

• Discovering profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships to ensure a robust supply base to secure goods and services by building a preferred vendor library.

• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.

• Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment.

  EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or Engineering Discipline, preferred.

• Minimum of five (5) years in Supplier Management, Procurement and/or Contract Negotiations; Two (2) plus years Sub-category management preferred.

• Spanish speaking is required.

  In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $81,600 -$123,000, not including benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at FIFCO USA, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to enable future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package!
