As part of this position, the technician will participate in planning, performing, and interpreting experiments aimed at understanding the CD4 T cell response to influenza virus and work with the Principal Investigator to develop novel influenza vaccination strategies. This work will involve the planning and execution of experiments involving the use of mouse models as well as direct studies utilizing human PBMCs and sera. The individual will also interface with clinical staff and research subjects to support ongoing clinical vaccine trials.
