University of Rochester UR Sleep Medicine: Ambulatory Care - Assistant Nurse Manager in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

We are looking for an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our growing multidisciplinary team. The ANM will have an integral role in day-to-day operations by promoting excellent practice standards, mentoring and engaging staff, and assisting others with performance improvement initiatives, safety & regulatory compliance and review/update orientation materials. We are looking for a leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic problem-solving ability with an openness to change as we support and grow a culture of inclusivity. They will work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team as we provide ever-better patient care in our outpatient clinic, robust telemedicine cohort, home sleep testing set-ups, and in-lab sleep testing. Required: A minimum of 3 years of RN experience, and a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program.

Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $40.25 - $56.35

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
