We are Now Hiring a Inventory Manager in Rockville, Maryland!

Responsibilities:

• Insure invoices show correct pricing and are properly coded for payment.

• Insure all invoices have been processed for months-end reporting

• Track and enforce warranties for parts and services.

• Identify trends, insure sufficient supply of parts and consumables for special projects, campaigns, and weather related events/seasons.

• Insure the needs of the staff are met in a timely manner.

• Work with Vendors to find the best pricing and to negotiate purchasing contracts for equipment, parts, services, and supplies.

• Buyer for goods and services needed by the centralized Maintenance Department for timely work order completion (create purchase requisitions, expedite orders as needed, and follow up on order fulfillment).

• Identify, buy for, and Maintain proper levels of inventory to avoid project and maintenance down time.

• Support and direct field operations managers with purchasing needs / requests

• Annual physical Inventory counts and monthly cycle counts

• Work with accounting to reconcile physical inventory to system counts.

• Responsible for keeping the purchasing database up to date and accurate

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

• 5+ years of related work experience

• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
