We are seeking 2nd and 3rd Shift Production Assistants for our CTI Fabrication Division in Romeoville, IL

Starting pay for this position is $22.00/hr- $23.00/hr based on experience. We are also offering a sign-on bonus for qualified applicants!

JOB DUTIES:

Assist Laser Operators in the efficient processing, delivery and removal of material to and from the laser machines. Specific duties include:

• Operate handling equipment to load and unload tubes/product to/from the laser machine

• Monitor machine when operator is not present and ensure its continued operation; load/unload material and check for general acceptable cut condition of completed parts

• Assist operators with loading and packaging laser cut parts into boxes

• Use quality tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers to conduct quality inspection of parts

• Assist in the secondary operations required to complete parts (tapping, cleaning, grinding)

• Follow all health & safety standards

  JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  The ideal candidate should possess these basic skills:

• Experience in the use of standard inspection measuring tools, such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers

• Ability to perform basic math and trigonometry

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk on a varying basis throughout work schedule

• Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds

• Ability to read blueprints and Bills of Material
