Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregons scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Director of Operations in providing oversight of the CMG practices; including general office administration, daily operations involving personnel management and performance, patient throughput and clinic scheduling.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversees all aspects of CMG office activities, functions and schedules; develops, implements and monitors standardized processes, procedures and systems for the entire continuum of clinic operations including front and back office functions.

  • Interviews, orients and trains new and existing employees within the departments; following appropriate policies and procedures. Prepares and conducts annual performance evaluations of employees; meets with employees to set annual goals to establish accountability for the position.

  • Performs timely coaching, counseling and progressive discipline to staff as needed.

  • Rounds in clinics to provide an opportunity for staff to discuss concerns and issues.

  • Promotes positive customer relations with internal and external customers.

  • Coordinates with HR to ensure new employees are set up properly so pay and benefits start promptly. Coordinates new employee orientation, computer training, hospital tours and issuing of badge to ensure employee is compliant with relevant policies.

  • Responsible for editing and approving KRONOS for all direct report employees.

  • Organizes and facilitates required meetings including staff meetings to discuss methods for improving customer service and efficient/safe operations; assists in informing staff of any changes to policies and procedures.



  • None


  • Five (5) years clinic office experience with three(3) years management experience required.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and previous healthcare experience required.

  • Knowledge of current procedure ICD coding required.

  • Must possess advanced computer skills.

  • Must be able to work without supervision, be organized and self-motivated.

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.


  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business related field required. An equivalent amount of experience that demonstrates the requisitie knowledge and skills needed may be substituted for the education requirement.
