Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregons scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the Umpqua. Responsibilities

Pay Scale: $16.26 - $22.36

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 2pm

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Materials Management Manager, the Inventory Specialist manages inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing and requisitioning within assigned areas. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Monitors and assures inventory levels meet demand tracking usage and setting inventory levels for specific groups of products.

Essential Duties:

  • Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed.

  • Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas.

  • Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate level are established in order not to affect patient care.

  • Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits.

  • Issues and credits materials from the inventory management point-of-use system.

  • Labels bins and handles requests to change pars.

  • Manages consigned inventory and processes bill-onlys as appropriate.

  • Conducts annual inventory count to determine asset value and additional inventories as requested.

  • Acts as a liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management for assigned areas.

Qualifications

License/Certification:

  • None.

Experience:

  • Three (3) years of experience in management of inventory required.

  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, stay on task and meet guidelines.

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must possess a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as supply chain applications.

  • Must be able to process and present data clearly.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
