Lead Engineer - Motor Controls and Embedded Software

In our friendly and international team you will be part of the next big technology evolution in aerospace. We are an EATON innovation center located just 20 min from Prague city center.

You will become a key member of the team working on new technologies in aerospace fuel systems, utilizing motor controls and application software development. The target of these projects is improve our environment with lower carbon footprint technologies and improved performance.

Job profile:

• Technical leadership

• Designing and developing SW architectures, controls, embedded software and applications.

• Designing electric motor controls incl. advanced control methods.

• Developing validation and verification test plans at various levels.

• Aiming to improve Processes, efficiency, safety and quality.

• Conduct project reviews and make presentations.

• Position requires up to 10% travel domestic and international.

We would like you to bring:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering discipline, or related, from an accredited university.

• Solid of experience in Controls and Embedded systems/applications development or relevant engineering discipline.

• Practical experience in developing Aerospace/Automotive systems (commercial applications)

• Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink with support of model-based development process.

• Advanced Control theory and systems

• Fundamentals of Electrical & Electronics engineering

• Motor controls algorithm development for various motor types and their operation, including Advanced Control theory and systems

• SW and systems validation and verification experience

We would appreciate:

• Optionally knowledge of Aerospace standards (DO-178, DO-254, DO-331) or Automotive functional safety norms (ISO 26262)
