Cisco Sales tapped GVSE to lead a new global strategic initiative to accelerate growth in Mid-Size by driving SaaS and cloud-based software solutions through a specialist-led sales motion pilot in FY21.The pilot had tremendous success in FY21, and Cisco is continuing this pilot into FY22. What You'll Do

The Virtual Technology Seller (VTS) Pilot is a Specialist-led sales pilot in USCommercial Mid-Size Accounts leveraging a new seller role (VTS). The VTS role is focused on a specific Architecture Portfolio and an emphasis on growing SAAS and Subscription revenue in addition to our traditional product sales. The VTS will own opportunities throughout the sales cycle (prospect to close), selling through a Partner Delivered sales process.

Who You'll Work With

Each Regional team will consist of a Mid-Size Account Manager (MSAM) and their Regional Sales Manager who will drive the Regional Strategy, a Virtual Systems Engineer (generalist SE), and other Virtual Technology Sellers for each Architecture Portfolio. The team will also be supported by GVSE TSN resources (concierge, click-to-demo, click-to-expert). You will report to a GVS Manager in the GVS Architecture team. The GVS Manager will support the VTS & the overall Regional strategy by facilitating the professional growth and development of VTS sellers, facilitating Architecture training and development, and driving tactical tools and process execution, and campaign Architecture Sales Play Activities.

You have advanced knowledge of Cisco tools and our consultative sales process; you also have experience enabling others on tools and processes

You have multi-architectural knowledge of Cisco’s solutions with various technical trainings, certifications and experience

You are proficient in architecture-specific competitors and confident selling against Cisco’s competition

You are collaborative and strategic, employing a holistic perspective to solve complex problems

You have demonstrated formal leadership such as being a team lead, mentor, project lead, etc

You have minimum 5 years of professional experience total and minimum 3 years of technology sales
