Job Description: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)Position Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)Location: Rochester, New York, New YorkOverview:Corporate Hiring Solutions is looking for qualified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PNPs) to deliver essential psychiatric services to juvenile delinquent youth and youthful offenders. This role focuses on providing mental health assessments, medication management, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team.Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for youth residents.Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans.Provide emergency psychiatric evaluations and interventions as needed.Document clinical services using standard forms and ensure accuracy in all records.Participate in mental health rounds and attend relevant trainings regularly.Ensure compliance with policies regarding the monitoring and management of psychotropic medications.Maintain confidentiality and sign a Confidentiality Non-Disclosure Agreement.Adhere to all security procedures and obtain necessary clearances as required by the facilities.Qualifications:Valid psychiatric nurse practitioner license to practice in New York State.At least one year of experience as a psychiatric nurse practitioner.Satisfactory reference check.Preferred: Professional experience providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents.Experience in a juvenile justice setting or working with a juvenile justice population is desirable.Hours:Dix Hills: Up to 504 hours per year (approximately 42 hours per month).Rochester, New York: Up to 444 hours per year (approximately 37 hours per month).Hours may vary based on the resident population and needs.Salary:Rochester, New York: $70 (Hourly)
