We are seeking Full Time Certified Peer Specialist to join our team at our program in Russellton, PA.  Earn $22.22/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.  Position Details  Provide peer support to individuals, providing guidance and encouragement to individuals to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery while serving as a mentor to individuals to promote hope and empowerment. Provide expertise and consultation from a mental health individual perspective to the entire team concerning individual's experiences on symptoms of mental illness, the effects and side effects of medications, individual's responses to and opinions of treatment, and individual's experiences of recovery. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:  *  High School Degree/GED required for this role.  Bachelor's degree in psychology or related human service field preferred.  *  Must have an active Certified Peer Specialist certification in PA.   *  Cannot accept a Certified Recovery Specialist certification.   *  Minimum two (2) years of paid or unpaid work experience in behavioral health, forensic, sexual offending behaviors or residential services required. *  Knowledge and understanding of severe mental illness, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
