Kelly Services Business/System Analyst - Process Improvement in Sacramento, California

SUMMARY FUNCTION:

The Process Improvement Analyst assists in identification and delivery of

process improvement initiatives throughout the company. The role will facilitate targeted process

improvement activities using improvement tools and methodologies including Process

Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Lean, Six Sigma and Plan, Do, Study, Act (PDSA) to deliver measurable

impact on organizational goals. This position supports the company by analyzing and utilizing operational and

other data to guide process improvement activities within the organization.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates with management and departmental staff to identify and evaluate

opportunities for process improvement initiatives that lead to a positive and measurable

impact on organizational goals.

  • Designs and implements process improvement initiatives to improve outcomes, optimize

use of organizational resources and maintain organizational alignment.

  • Acts as a resource and engages staff in developing and implementing improvement

projects in their departments.

  • Leads improvement initiatives and facilitates the development of problem-solving projects

and process change. Regularly reports the status of projects and related impact.

  • Works collaboratively with Business Intelligence team on data collection, analysis, and

reporting to ensure project selection and goals are data driven.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of industry regulations and standards and ensures that

improvement initiatives align with company SOPs, processes, and training.

  • Participates in national and industry specific meetings/conferences, networks with process

improvement professionals, shares best practices, tools, and materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college. Certification in Quality Management and/or Process Improvement methods required (e.g. LEAN, Six-Sigma, ASQ, etc.)

  • Minimum 2 years of related experience in process improvement. Demonstrated expertise in leading organizational process improvement initiatives with

  • Skilled at data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Certifications:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio,

PowerPoint, etc.) Computer Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, skilled at multi-tasking, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
