DC Service Specialist - Bay City Area

Overview The site address for the requisition: 1000 Calabria Ave, Bay City, MI, 48706.

Responsibilities The DC Service Specialist is responsible for ensuring proper system set-up and that run right processes are in place to drive high levels of service performance at the Bay City Distribution Center.  The Specialist serves as the subject matter expert for technical systems and will ensure that all systems are set up properly. 

They will be responsible for effective collaboration and communication with other roles in the DCs and Region to drive service results, will leverage available tools and reports to understand the performance and opportunities at the DC and act to proactively address challenges. They  will investigate invoice adjustments to determine the root cause have accountability for all Service Metrics.

Working Hours:  Monday- Friday (7am-3pm)

Up to 10% Travel

Potential Weekends as business needs dictate

Qualifications * High comfort level with Warehouse Management Systems and computer work * Warehouse/Logistics experience and general supply chain knowledge * Understanding of dashboard reporting tools * Strong Microsoft Office Skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word * Intellectual curiosity and comfortable receiving/providing feedback to others. Organized and disciplined approach to issue resolution. * Ability to work in an unstructured environment with the ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly * Ability to recognize process gaps, develop solutions, and communicate effectively * Demonstrated ability to work in a result oriented, challenging environment * Effective coaching skills and communication skills * Must hold strong follow-up skills and embrace top level service environment * Additional skills as needed * Key Performance Metrics * Service * Communication * Quick Learner
