Description We are in the retail industry, located in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri, offering a contract employment opportunity for a Finance Manager. In this role, you will be a key part of our global finance team, taking charge of our consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and leading the monthly financial close process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of the consolidated financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting activities.

• Maintain and enforce company policies.

• Lead the global monthly financial close process.

• Manage and review work performed by direct reports.

• Establish, maintain, and document internal and external controls within areas of responsibility.

• Participate in the implementation and development of finance/accounting systems.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient work processes.

• Ensure Accounting Functions comply with set standards.

• Oversee Financial Close Process and Monthly Financial Close to maintain financial health.

• Ensure accurate and timely Financial Reporting. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Experience in ensuring Compliance with relevant financial regulations

• Ability to manage the Financial Close Process

• Experience in Monthly Financial Close procedures

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
