Position Summary

The Shopper Intern will assist the Shopper team in managing day-to-day campaigns, operations, and audience development activities with coupon/promotional oversite as well as analytics to drive customer brand loyalty. They will have the opportunity to present an end of semester report that showcases skills gained throughout their internship experience (time permitting).

Responsibilities

• · Day to Day: Create barcodes for Kroger Coupons & input data into Kroger systems· Day to Day: Ad Hoc creative – pull images from HIVE, UPCs, E#’s AND create a quick reference for common UPCs (creative & reference IDs)· Continual: Updating organizational documents (post premdg, promo calendar)· Continual: Recap all coupon delivery from ‘22/’23· Continual: Assist with aggregation/‘data dump’ from previous media plans for evaluation· Continual: Conduct competitive research across retailers· Continual: Walgreens + Target retail media network comparison

What we are looking for

• · Education and Certification: Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar. However, other majors will be considered if applicant has relevant interests and skills· Junior or senior in college· Confident self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced work environment, willing to ask questions for guidance when uncertain· Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills· Critical thinker and problem solver with a positive mindset· A team player, willing and able to jump in to support coworkers and learn new skills· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
