Description:

The Sr. Analytical R&D Scientist would be responsible for supporting development and commercialization of a range of pharmaceutical products. This would include method development (HPLC, GC, dissolution), validation and analytical chemistry for scale up pharmaceutical products. In this role, the scientist's expertise would be tapped to further grow the lab's capabilities and enhance the lab's quality compliance.

The role involves providing comprehensive analytical support across a range of products to drive revenue growth, enhance laboratory capabilities, and ensure high standards of lab quality compliance. Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, analysis, validation, stability testing, and industry trials, all while adhering to Quality by Design (QbD) standards and regulatory requirements. The position also supports key performance indicators (KPIs) for laboratory and operational functions, and assists in scaling up projects to commercial levels.

Additionally, the role focuses on the analytical development, optimization, and scaling up of various dosage forms. The candidate will be responsible for creating and reviewing technical documents, including analytical method development reports, validation protocols, and standard operating procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Practical bench work, such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and dissolution testing, is also a critical part of the job.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in science

6+ years of industry experience

6+ years of HPLC, GC, FTIR, dissolution experience

Technical writing and data management skills to be able to present data to internal and external partners

Nice to have qualifications:

Previous experience/knowledge with in vitro permeation testing (IVPT)

Experience using chromotography software (Empower 3)

Previous Technical writing experience and ability to present data to internal and external customers
