Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Internal Audit Swap Dealer Associate to work for one of the world's premier financial institutions in Salt Lake City. The responsibilities of the role will be as follows: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the firm's Swap Dealer compliance program. Manage and execute audits focused on the firm's compliance with the Swap Dealer requirements. This includes planning and scoping, fieldwork, audit test plans, and reporting. Drive walkthroughs with stakeholders to perform control design assessments. Lead audit testing to ensure that audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas and that documentation meets high-quality standards. Coordinate with business and engineering audit teams to identify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations for improving the control environment. Communicate and report on the audit conclusions and findings, presenting to Internal Audit senior management and business stakeholders. Follow up on open audit issues and validate their resolution. Participate in department-wide initiatives aimed at continually improving Internal Audit's processes and supporting infrastructure. Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships, regularly engaging with the business throughout the year to assess changes in the risk and control environment.

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree

* 7+ Years of relevant work experience in Internal Audit / Compliance / Risk Setting within a financial institution

o 3+ years of current experience. Must be currently working in Audit / risk

* Experience handling swaps and other derivative products

* Experience working with SEC approved Security-based swap dealers (SBSD) or major security-based swap participant (MSBSP)

* Prior experience in and understanding of laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to swap dealer requirements, including Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Act, associated CFTC and SEC regulations, and NFA rules

* Able to work onsite in Salt Lake City * Experience managing engagements across multiple regions

* Active industry Certifications (eg: CPA, CIA, FINRA certs)

* Strong excel skills null
