.The South Main Pediatric Clinic at the University of Utah School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Medical Assistant that shares our vision and passion for caring for children and their families. The Medical Assistant will have a primary focus on care coordination for patients as well as Spanish interpretation services while engaged in basic healthcare activities. The Medical Assistant will serve as a qualified staff interpreter providing Spanish language interpretation, written translation and assistance in education for non-English speaking patients, their families and other internal and external customers. The Medical Assistant will provide assistance and support and will facilitate the efficient delivery of patient care as directed by licensed staff in rendering basic healthcare to the patient, with a primary focus on Spanish speaking and high-risk patients. The Medical Assistant will administer medications as directed by supervising physician and according to State Law.
