The recently established Rose Park Primary Care Clinic provides access to exceptional primary care services for the communities surrounding the University of Utah Population Health Center. Leveraging a dynamic team of medical faculty and students, this student-led clinic is a novel approach to medicine and is at the core of the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine's innovative MD curriculum.This clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant I (MA I) ready to contribute to a healthcare delivery model that blends medical education with high-quality, trauma-informed, patient-centered care. This unique role primarily supports direct patient care and the educational development of medical students for the Rose Park Primary Care Clinic. This position also provides secondary support to the University of Utah Population Health Centers other clinical programs as part of the Centers Medical Assistant Pool.The Rose Park Primary Care Clinic Medical Assistants primary responsibilities will include a combination of the following:Clinical Support and Assistive Patient Care: Aid faculty preceptors and medical students in providing comprehensive patient care.Scheduling Management: Manage schedules for patients, faculty, and students, enhancing both care and educational experiences.Educational Integration: Support the clinic's educational mission by facilitating the learning process for students.Office and Clinical Operations: Take part in office management, including supply ordering and maintaining clinic protocols, to ensure a supportive healthcare and learning environment.This position is ideal for a proactive, self-driven individual keen on improving clinic operations and contributing to the education of future healthcare professionals.
