nVent Sales Manager in Samutprakan, Thailand

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Responsible for achievement of the sales quota

  • Develop new distribution channel for Enclosures across Thailand market and penetrate with existing channel

  • Penetrate into nVent defined global accounts across different business lines and geographies, developing relationships with different and complex stakeholder matrix

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and networking within the OEM, end user and consultant communities

  • Intensively travel across the country

  • Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance, and proactively identify areas for improvement

  • Formally provide input on pricing, delivery and other sales influencing factors

  • Provide monthly sales reports, RACE implementation and conduct weekly pipeline reviews

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs to drive sales growth and stay ahead of the competition

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

  • Provide reporting, forecasting for business planning purposes

  • Provide extensive product and solutions training for customers and distributors

  • Respond to customer issues and provides follow-up to assure resolution

  • Understand current market relationships and partnerships with customers and distributors

  • May be required to perform additional duties as assigned

You have:

  • 5+ years in an outside sales role in industrial automation market along extensive experience selling through multiple types of customers, including distributors, machine builders, panel builders and global accounts

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, business, marketing, or related field

  • 5+ years in an outside sales role in industrial automation market along extensive experience selling through multiple types of customers, including distributors, machine builders, panel builders, OEM and global accounts

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge and experience using sales force or similar effectiveness tools and approaches (i.e. customer segmentation, territory management, technology tools such as CRM and mobile technologies, sales force time management)

  • Strong knowledge of the sales process, including lead generation, needs assessment, negotiation, and closing

  • Proven skills to cultivate long-term, sustainable, value-based relationships with core accounts that elevates revenue opportunities and brand equity

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, and influence, rationale and diplomacy both internally and externally in a selling environment

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and leverage partnerships to drive the strategic plan

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstance and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend industry events, and engage in entertaining activities with customers

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with a diverse range of stakeholders

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Skills to develop and deliver effective presentations and proposals

  • Ability to manage all aspects of an account with a positive, “can do” attitude

  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and have the ability to thrive in a constantly changing business environment
