Whether in a direct-care or support role, your contribution will make a difference in the life of a Texan.Works under the general supervision of the Risk Manager with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs complex administrative work. Works closely with Security Supervisor to ensure electronic databases are built and maintained.Prepares, edits, and distributes correspondence, reports, studies, forms, and documents. Compiles and analyzes data, making calculations, and preparing reports that supports Security and Safety and the reporting requirements for the Environment of Care committee. Is responsible for Data Integrity and Review. Is responsible for coordinating with Safety and Security Officers to report trends in incidents that need to be addressed.Is responsible for maintaining Access Control (keys) and Data Card (IDand#146;s) for the SASH campus to include keys and badges for new employees, terminated employee, lock change request, department change key request and conducts key audits for current employees.Essential Job Functions1. Attends work on a regular basis and may be required to work a specific shift schedule or, at times, even a rotating schedule, extended shift and/or overtime in accordance with agency leave policy and performs other duties as assigned.2. Functions as Admin for Security with the primary responsibility to manage key access.3. Creates a database, using Microsoft Products, and populate the databases with applicable data for the purpose of generating reports, graphs and narratives.4. Use Microsoft Office software for word processing and/or composing documents and reports.5. Use a personal computer for inquiry and data entry.6. Answer Phones in the Security/Key Office.7. Issue keys to authorized requestors.8. Ability to successfully gain user level knowledge of Current/Future Key Control Management Program.9. Follows procedures for purchasing in-house supplies through MIMS system. Follows procedures for purchasing office supplies utilizing the Order Request form in the online system.10. Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to actively participating and/or serving in a supporting role to meet the agencyand#146;s obligation for disaster response and/or recovery or Continuity of Operations (COOP) activation.
