Job Description

An employer in San Antonio, TX is looking for a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join their team. This person will be directly responsible for overseeing and managing multiple work orders at a time to complete all necessary maintenance. They will need to have strong experience in performing calibrations, validations, and verifications for a large variety of equipment. They will also communicate with external vendors to schedule preventative maintenance, order parts, and schedule any other necessary services for large pieces of equipment. They will move, install, re-locate, and re-install laboratory equipment. Other tasks include maintaining and updating lab equipment documentation and update all digital platforms as well.

Skills and Requirements

  • Associate degree in Applied Science or Biomedical Engineering

  • experience performing biomedical machine calibrations, validations, and verifications

  • experience working with external equipment vendors and coordinating preventive maintenance and ordering parts

  • experience working in regulated environments (hospital, clean room) * Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering

  • Prior Military

  • CBET II Certification null
